General information

Centuries ago, Indian folks used the bark of Birch Tree for writing scriptures, the Vedas and other texts. The wood of this tree is used for construction and packaging for good. Birch tree also possesses therapeutic benefits and is used by Ayurveda Practition in various medicinal preparations. The main constituent found in this herb is Betulinic acid, which renders its medicinal benefits. Betulinic acid is beneficial in skin ailments and allergies, and it also has an anti-inflammatory properties which help in controlling the pain in joints and muscles. It is antimicrobial in nature and is rich in anti-oxidants.
