General information
Golden Champa has been used for ornamental, medicinal and commercial purpose. The bark and the flower render it its therapeutic benefits. An extract from the flowers has been used to make the Joy perfume. Also, this extract is found helpful in treating cough and other respiratory diseases. It is a mild laxative and helps to regulate the bowel movements, indigestion and other digestive system disorders. It has anti-inflammatory properties and is helpful in controlling joint pain and skin inflammation. It is also diuretic in nature which helps to treat the urinary tract diseases and keeps the body hydrated.
