General information
Clitoria ternatea is a perennial plant with white or blue flowers. It has many therapeutic benefits and is used in Ayurvedic medicine preparation. This herb helps in balancing all the doshas which are vata, pitta and kapha. The oil extracted from this herb has antiseptic, anti-bacterial and anti inflammatory properties and is helpful when externally applied to skin allergies, wounds and skin inflammations. Winged Leave Clitoria is a mild laxative and is helpful in gastrointestinal diseases. It helps to pacify kapha and pitta. It helps in purification of blood and in boosting the immune power of the body.
